The actual purpose and plan of God started already at the very beginning. Certainly every one of us has admired His majestic creation. However, not everyone logically places the existence of a Creator before the creation. It is generally known that since the people have realised the seemingly impossible with extraordinary inventions, the existence of God is increasingly being questioned and the creation report is being considered as doubtful. Atheistic philosophers came up with controversial claims and convinced the people of their theories, especially during the past centuries, throwing humanity into unbelief. God is being denied, and man is celebrated. Also the assertion is made that all things came into existence by themselves. Whoever believes that could also claim having come into existence by himself through evolution, denying his own father and mother.

Who can imagine that the universe in its infinite state with uncountable stars and whatever there is in perfect harmony should have come into existence by itself or through some “Big Bang”? Up till now nobody could suggest any improvements in the majestic creation. Just consider the innumerable creatures in the oceans and on land who have been perfectly equipped to live in their habitats, as well as the millions of kinds of beasts and birds on the different continents and how they are in perfect harmony with the climate surrounding them.

As the Creator in the beginning made all things by His almighty Word, so they are still in existence today. Since the creation of the earth, each year we are sowing and reaping, as God has said it would be: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” (Gen. 8:22). Only where man in his greed thoughtlessly interferes with nature, irregularities inevitably develop. Every day billions are being fed, and if all the available food would be divided up properly, nobody would need to hunger on earth. Each year God not only sustains us and the trillions of living creatures, but He also preaches a mighty sermon about life, death and resurrection unto us through nature itself. Each spring brings forth new life, new fruit, and the summer follows with a rich harvest. Then comes the autumn, leaves fall from the trees and nature dies. As a time of resting the winter follows, and most certainly in the same rhythm the awakening returns in the spring. “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shown it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead” (Rom. 1:19-20).

The fact that all living creatures bring forth after their kind remains unchanged for ever. Up till today we sow the same seed that came forth at the creation for the first time. The same trees grow with the same fruits and the same animals live on earth. Even man and woman, the crown of creation, are as they were in the days of Adam and Eve. They are also equipped with creative talents. That has been proven over this past century, especially in the last fifty years, overwhelmingly so. We have experienced the developments from the horse and wagon days to the airplanes and on to the space shuttle. Man is absolutely capable of doing whatever he thinks and plans at all times, as the Lord has said, “... and now nothing will be withheld from them, which they have imagined to do.” (Gen. 11:6). This I was especially made aware of when I had the priviledge of personally meeting the U.S.-astronaut of Apollo 16, General ret. Charles Duke, on December 9^th, 1995, who spoke in Berlin about his trip to the moon in April of 1972.

There is only one thing man cannot do — that is to create life. Those who believe in evolution should tell us who brought the first cell into existence, and they should also let us know who had put life into that cell. The question could also be asked, who has put the ability to multiply into all living creatures? Why do the atheists not sow artificially made wheat? Because they know that it would not come up, as it does not bear the germ of life in it. The mighty, all-embracing, majestic creation should convince each and every realistically thinking man of the existence of the sovereign Almighty Creator. If human beings would not have separated themselves from God, they could believe Him and His Word, which comes to pass daily before their eyes and confirms the creation report. God and God’s Word remain for ever trustworthy and eternally true for everyone who has been given grace to believe!
