Dear Friends, beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

this is Brother Frank speaking to you from the International Mission Center in Krefeld, Germany. We are just so grateful to our God for the possibility to share His precious Word with the inhabitants of the earth.

In our time it is possible through radio and TV ministries and also through campaigns to take God’s Word right to the ends of the earth and Matthew 24:14 is being fulfilled, “This Gospel of the Kingdom must and is being preached to all the nations as a witness”, and then of course the end is being announced, because our Lord said, “Then the end shall be.” Nobody knows the day or the hour when the time of grace would be over, but our Lord said, “When you see all these things come to pass, then you know that the time is near, even at the door.” Our main subject remains the return of Christ, the fulfilment of Bible prophecies in our time. We look to Israel and the neighbouring countries, we look to Rome, but we look towards heaven to get the answer from God through the Word. I don’t believe in any interpretation, I believe in the original Words of God, in the plan of Salvation as we find it in the Holy Scriptures, the Old and the New Testament. In the Old we have the promises, in the New we have their fulfilment.

The subject about the return of Christ is very important, but our preparation to be ready for His return is equally important. It is not enough to speak about the time we are living in, about the fulfilment of Bible prophecies or about the Rapture. This is the calling-out time, the preparation time, because the Scripture says in Matthew 25, verse 10, “They that were ready went in to the marriage, and the door was closed.” Beloved, this ministry must accomplish what God foretold in His Word. Just before the return of our beloved Saviour there has to be a time of restoration of all things. The New Testament Church must be placed back into the same position as she was at the very, very beginning. And if we speak about the beginning, we have to say, In the beginning was the Word, not the interpretation. In the beginning the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us. The Word, the Word, not the interpretation! Then we see how every promise pertaining and speaking about our Lord and Saviour came to fulfilment at His first coming, and every promise was connected to reality: The birth of the Saviour was a reality, His life, His ministry, His sufferings, His death was a reality, His resurrection and going to heaven was a reality. His return will be a reality. The changing of our bodies will be a reality. The taking up into the air to meet Him will be a reality. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will be a reality. I have to reject every teaching that proclaims that the Lord has already come, and I give the same answer, the whole world must hear it: If He comes, I go. As long as I am here, He has not yet come.

In 1 Thessalonians, chapter 3, verse 13 we read, “… and to the end He may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.” Now, we have to read every statement very, very carefully and we have to take every verse to the next and to the next verse in the Scriptures which does speak about the same subject. And here in 1 Thessalonians, chapter 4, verse 14, we read, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.” Wonderful! All our brothers and sisters who lived for Christ and died in Christ, those who will partake in the first resurrection, the Lord will bring with Him when He comes to take those who are still alive together with them into Glory.

So we understand from the Scriptures when our Lord Jesus returns the great event takes place that those who died in Christ will rise first and we who are alive shall be changed in a twinkling of an eye, in one moment, not in a period of many years.

Some claim, the Lord is descending since the opening of the seals, and they say, He is descending since 1963. Beloved, that is simply not true. We are still in the time of grace, because the moment and only at that moment, when our Lord leaves the mercy seat to return to take us who received God’s mercy in grace and are prepared to meet Him, only at that moment the seat of mercy turns into the judgement seat. Only at that moment the time of grace is over. So if anybodys says the Lord is already descending, Beloved, please take it back and never believe it, because if He would already be descending, then, of course, you are too late, you are too late, for the time of grace would be over. Thanks be to God, we are still in the time of grace and we still know believers who respect the Word of God, who do not misconstrue the promises or the utterances, the statements Brother Branham made, and it might interest you to know that all misunderstandings are a wrong inspiration by the enemy. We have to know this that every wrong teaching is somehow taken from misconstruing, misunderstanding a scriptural statement. The same applies for the statements of Brother Branham. It is always a misunderstanding. Some statements are taken out of context and that is being done with a purpose: to support someone’s own conviction and teachings.

I knew Brother Branham for ten years, from 1955 to 1965, and, beloved Brothers and Sisters, he was the man sent from God with the Word of God for this day. He was a true prophet as prophesied in Malachi, chapter 4. The Lord Himself said, “I will send you Elijah, the prophet, before the great and dreadful day of the Lord comes.” At the same time I am hurt, because his statements are taken out of context and sometimes are being brought into opposition to the written Word of God. Anybody with a clear mind, with his senses together should know that if you do have a teaching that is contrary to the Word of God you should know yourself that something is wrong with you and your treaching. It has to be said in such a blunt way, so that everybody would understand. The time to take it easy is over. We look into the things which are now happening worldwide, especially with Israel and around and we understand that now Bible prophecies are coming to fulfilment in the Near East. The countries of the north of Israel and those of the east join together with those Arabic nations, Islamic nations – whether it is Russia or China, in some way joining together with the countries that are totally against Israel: with Syria, with Iran, with Iraque. And this is according to Bible prophecy. We can go to the Prophet Ezekiel, we can go to the Prophet Joel, we can go to the Old Testament prophets and we can take it to the New Testament, to Revelation, chapter 16, and we can take it to Revelation, chapter 9, where the statement is found that these countries at the Euphrates River will gather and a third part of the inhabitants of the earth will be destroyed.

Beloved, coming back to our main subject about the return of Christ. Our calling out, our preparation to be ready for the return of Christ is most important at this time. In 1 Thessalonians 4 we continue to read in verse 15, “For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them who are asleep.” Of course, not. Why should we? We shall not precede them. God has a divine order and all things will be in that divine order: First the dead in Christ will rise, then those who live in Christ will be changed. Their bodies will be changed. But, Beloved, Brothers and Sisters, we also have to recognise that the inside must be changed first. We must return to God. Many speak about “conversion”, but they have not the experience of that conversion. Many speak about the new birth, but they don’t have the experience of the new birth. Many speak of a new life, but they don’t have the new life. Many speak about the ways of God and they are still walking in their own ways. Beloved, the time has come where we must check our experiences with the Word of God. Have we repented of our sins? Have we returned from our own ways to the Lord to walk in obedience in the ways of God? Did we receive a new heart, a new spirit, a new life? Can we say as the Apostle Paul, “I died with Christ. I am crucified with Him. Now I live no more, but He lives in me.”? Christ living His own life through you? Beloved that is also John 17, verse 21 and 23, “I in them.” But first, „Father, Thou in Me and I in them that we might be one.” God in Christ and Christ in us, the hope of Glory.

And then we think about 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, “God was in Christ, reconciling the world with Himself”, sheding His own blood, giving His own life, bringing redemption to us. Beloved, this is a fact, but we have to receive the things God prepared for us and we have to experience them as well. So we understand by the grace of God that the inside must be changed first, the soul must be changed, the heart must be changed. We have to be changed on the inside to be brought into obedience to the Word of God, because the natural man does not submit to God. The natural man does not receive things of the Spirit. Spiritual things must be spiritually understood.

And therefore we read here about the return of Christ. He will bring those who live with Him and died in Him He will bring with Him when He returns. And then, as we already read verse 15 (in 1 Thessalonians 4), “For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord” – not by my or your explanation or interpretation, but by the Word of the Lord, “that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them who are asleep.” Why should we? No, everything in the divine order. And now verse 16 is equally important, and this is also the Word of the Lord, not my opinion. I read verse 16, “For the Lord Himself shall descend” – not a revelation, not just a cloud appearing in the sky for a few minutes on February 28th, 1963. No. At that time the Lord did not bring any of those who died in Christ with Him. At that time no one living on earth was changed. That was the moment when Brother Branham was told to return to Jeffersonville, for the opening of the seven seals had come. So, please, don’t misconstrue the Word of the Lord. Let everything be where it should be according to the divine order! So here we read, “For the Lord Himself” – not a revelation, He Himself, “the same Jesus that was taken into heaven will come in the same way as ye have seen Him going up into heaven” (Acts, chapter 1, verse 11). I wished I could talk to all these brothers who tread the Word of God under their foot and have their own interpretations and call it a “special revelation”. You should be ashamed to call yourself a servant of Christ! You might think, “Brother Frank, you are going too far!” I am telling you, I am not going far enough!

Please, let us summarize what we try to say here today: In this book, in this holy Word of God everything is foretold and is going to be precisely as the Scripture says. Jesus Christ will return and those who died in Him He will bring with Him and we who live in Him shall be changed. This will take place within the near future. Nobody knows the day or the hour, but I repeat: Our Lord said, “When you see all these things take place, then you know the time is near, even at the door. Look up, for your redemption is drawing near.” Get ready for that moment, when the Bridegroom shall return to take the Bride Church home!
