Without the usual introduction we shall get straight to the point. For judgement and jurisdiction in reference to all biblical matters — teachings or practice — which are to be dealt with, God has already decided in His Word what should be valid. In this exposition the incorruptible, everlasting Word of God, as it is written in the Bible, shall stand, for it will be used at the »day of judgement« as the final pronouncement of the verdict. As in a court case we shall now have to declare the indictment before God’s judgement seat and give the warning.

“And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a taken of a covenant between me and the earth.” (Gen. 9:12-13).

Election – Predestination Isa 46:10: “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure…”

1 Pt 1:24-25: “The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away; but the Word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”

“And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” (Rev 19:8)

In this exposition we shall mainly deal with the time span of the New Testament Church and take into consideration the passages of the Scripture which shed light upon the course of time. The main emphasis will be on the prophetic book of the Bible, the Revelation - the Apocalypse. The prophetic scripture contains symbols which are indeed hard to understand. Many Bible scholars and teachers have therefore put aside this book, while others have expressed their own thoughts about it. In reality, until now we did not have a true balanced, "up to date" literature, which would take us into the newest stand according to the rapid prophetic developments.

In this exposition we shall mainly refer to the book of Daniel and also to the book of Revelation. Until recently, even renown international Bible teachers were not able to comprehend the contents of those prophetic books. They encountered always new problems while trying to understand, because they were not able to decipher the symbolic language used there. Everything that was shown and written by direct inspiration can only be understood and revealed from above. Here, the spirit of man cannot go into research in a philosophic way, but in the contrary, the Spirit of God must illuminate and reveal that which is hidden (I Cor. 2: 10–13). Because the time for this last prophetic part of the Scriptures had not yet come, even the greatest men only were able to present their knowledge to the best of their ability.
