Isa. 21:11, "Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?"

Isaiah 54:14-15 and 17: "In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake … No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. 1 Tim 6:14-15: “That thou keep this commandment without spot, unre- bukeable, until the appearing of our LORD Jesus Christ: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and LORD of lords ...”

1. Ths. 2:13: “For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”

Isaiah 14:27: For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

1 Peter 4:7–11: “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
