Unity and Harmony in Prayer

Forgetting the Past, Pursuing the Future

Reasoning: Brother Frank uses Paul's words in Philippians 3:12-14 as a foundation for this lesson, encouraging perseverance in faith despite imperfections. He emphasizes the importance of looking forward to the ultimate goal, rather than dwelling on past mistakes.
Short Summary

He urges the congregation to pray for those in ministry, including himself, Brother Russ, and Brother Schmidt, that they may remain under the Spirit's direction and fulfill God's will without compromise. He stresses the need for unity, harmony, and genuine spiritual leadership within the church, so that God's blessings may abound.

Introduction: Brother Frank welcomes the congregation, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to gather and hear God's word. He references Paul's words in Philippians, acknowledging that they have not yet fully grasped everything but are pressing on towards the goal.

Mose 20) and Aaron making a golden calf (2. Mose 32) as cautionary tales. * He also references 1. Samuel 8, where the people demanded a king, and Apostelgeschichte 21, where Paul was persuaded to compromise his principles. * Importance of Prayer and Discernment: * Brother Frank emphasizes the need for the congregation to pray for those who minister the word, that they may remain under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and not be swayed by external pressures. * He stresses the importance of discernment, distinguishing between genuine and supposed guidance from the Holy Spirit. * He encourages the community to seek divine unity and harmony in their worship and service. * The Goal: * Brother Frank reminds the congregation that they are brought to the goal once and for all through the offering of Jesus' body, referencing Hebräer 10, 14. * He encourages them to be mindful of their destination and to remain focused on the path God has set before them.
Conclusion: Brother Frank concludes by urging the congregation to support their ministers through prayer, that they may serve God without being influenced by human pressures. He expresses his desire to be fully aligned with God's will, doing only what God desires and nothing else.

Maintaining Unity and Harmony in Worship
Takeaway: Worship and prayer should be conducted in a manner that fosters unity, understanding, and edification within the community.
Reasoning: Individual expressions of faith should not disrupt the collective worship experience or cause confusion, but rather contribute to the overall spiritual growth of the congregation.
The Danger of Human Influence Over Divine Instruction
Takeaway: Men of God must be cautious not to let human influence override divine instruction.
Reasoning: Biblical examples show that even great men of God can falter when they prioritize the desires or expectations of people over the clear commands of God.
The Sovereignty and Redemptive Power of God
Takeaway: Despite human failings and errors, God remains sovereign and is able to redeem situations, using them for His glory and to fulfill His divine plan.
Reasoning: Even when individuals make mistakes, God can still bring about good and use those circumstances to accomplish His purposes.

Apg 21:22 Was ist‘s denn nun?

Ex 32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.Ex 32:2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.Ex 32:3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.Ex 32:4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.Ex 32:5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.Ex 32:6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.Ex 32:7 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:Ex 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.Ex 32:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:Ex 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.Ex 32:11 And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?Ex 32:12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.Ex 32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.Ex 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.Ex 32:15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.Ex 32:16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.Ex 32:17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.Ex 32:18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.Ex 32:19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.Ex 32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strewed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.Ex 32:21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?Ex 32:22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.Ex 32:23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.Ex 32:24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.Ex 32:25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)Ex 32:26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.Ex 32:27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.Ex 32:28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.Ex 32:29 For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.Ex 32:30 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.Ex 32:31 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.Ex 32:32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.Ex 32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.Ex 32:34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.Ex 32:35 And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

Acts 21:10 And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.Acts 21:11 And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.Acts 21:12 And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.Acts 21:13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.Acts 21:14 And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.Acts 21:15 And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.Acts 21:16 There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.Acts 21:17 And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.Acts 21:18 And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.Acts 21:19 And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.Acts 21:20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:Acts 21:21 And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.Acts 21:22 What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.Acts 21:23 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;Acts 21:24 Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.Acts 21:25 As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.Acts 21:26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.

4M 20:7 A Hospodin hovoril Mojžišovi a riekol:
-
2M 17:4 Vtedy kričal Mojžiš k Hospodinovi a vravel: Čo mám urobiť tomuto ľudu? Ešte niečo málo, a ukameňujú ma.2M 17:5 A Hospodin riekol Mojžišovi: Idi pred ľudom a pojmi so sebou niektorých zo starších Izraelových i svoju palicu, ktorou si uderil rieku, vezmi do svojej ruky a pojdeš.2M 17:6 Hľa, ja tam budem stáť pred tebou na skale na Hórebe.

A Samuel povedal mužom Izraelovým: Iďte každý do svojho mesta.

Sk 21:16 A išli s nami aj niektorí z učeníkov z Cezáree vedúc so sebou istého Mnázona Cyprianskeho, dávneho učeníka, u ktorého sme mali bývať.Sk 21:17 A keď sme prišli do Jeruzalema, radi nás prijali bratia.
