Perhaps the most important phase began for me in the year 1966. As should be known to those acquainted with the message of the hour, the funeral of Brother Branham took place on Monday, the 11th of April, 1966, right after the Easter meetings. That which went on within me, when I saw the coffin being lowered into the ground, cannot be expressed. I have mentioned this and perhaps also written about it. It was hard for me to comprehend that it really happened. I couldn’t imagine how the bride of Christ could be completed without this mighty ministry. After the funeral I returned to my hotel room. There was a deep mourning and many tears, but suddenly there came an unexpected peace and confidence over me. On the same day, an inner voice spoke to me, “Now the time has come to give out the food.” Without having to think about it, I knew what was to be done.

It is not presumptuous nor exaggerated if I say at this stage, that not one of the brothers at that time had any thought of the spreading of the God-given message. Deeply disappointed, all left to their respective places. The expectation of the sudden resurrection of Brother Branham was not fulfilled. No one knew if and how things would go on.

I managed to speak to a few brothers, who were near Brother Branham in his ministry. I could convince Brother Roy Borders that the sermons must be printed, because we would need them in order to translate them into other languages. As far as I remember, the first one was published one year later. I also spoke to Brother Pearry Green and invited him for meetings, that he should testify of the things he had personally seen and heard.

Many of the brothers today seem to have forgotten that without God using me, there would have been no spreading of the end time message, as without BrotherBranham there would have been no message in existence. Neither in the English nor in any other language would the sermons have been published. God also used me to arrange the first meetings in Europe. As everyone knows, I have taken the revealed Word of God under difficult circumstances into all the world, including the communistic countries. In doing so, I was only obedient to the heavenly calling.

As one can see, Brother Branham, after the opening of the seals referred to the forerunning of the message rather than to himself, when he spoke of the experience he had on the 11th of June, 1933. In the sermon, It is the Rising of the Sun, he put it like this: “As John the Baptist was sent to forerun the first coming of Christ, your message will forerun the second” (page 3). God takes his servants and prophets, but the Word remains with us. We also can say at this time with final conviction that “we have the more sure word of prophecy” (2Pt 1:19).

In May 1966, this new phase began through the proclamation and spreading of the God-given message. The beginning was made in West Germany and the surrounding countries. Hundreds came to hear what God had done in our time. It was not my planning and my doing, it was the Lord who had foreseen things, and He is continuing His work. We can be assured that it will be completed at the return of Jesus Christ. Very quickly, the message spread in Western and Eastern Europe, in Africa, Asia and the whole world.

As a span of time, the ten years from 1968 to 1978 were the most blessed ones for me. During that time, we had the broadcast through Radio Luxemburg on every Sunday morning, and by this we reached many in Western and Eastern Europe. The doors were opening everywhere. In those ten years, I preached nearly three thousand sermons. In addition to that, I have made the many missionary trips and translated hundreds of Brother Branham’s sermons. Also the correspondence was very heavy, as it is connected with this mission work. Often I would only write down the scriptures while in flight, and then when I started to preach, it seemed that I was drawing from a never ceasing fountain, where divine inspiration came forth every time. Oh, how faithful has the Lord revealed His Word, illuminated the scriptures and the connections pertaining to a certain subject! Many can testify that God’s Word came fresh from His throne. A few times, I even heard the scriptures which I was to read.
