Circular letter JUNE 1971
The truth is through preaching a servant of God builds trust towards God in people. It is also true that God in turn builds trust towards His servants in His people. A true servant of God will be characterised by sincerity and veracity. We can say as Paul did: “For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness…” (1Thessalonians 2:3-5)
How truthful this scripture is: “Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper.” (2 Chronicles 20:20). As surely as true prophets represented God so God represented them and confirmed His Word. To the glory of God, we can see now that still more and more children of God from all around Europe come to trust God and His Word as it has been revealed fresh. Initially, many believers receive it with restraint but now they fully trust and know that we are not focusing on ourselves but in God's truth we preach the Word of the Lord. By God's grace the initial doubt is now completely gone because first especially preachers of so-called full gospel considered it their role to attack brother Branham and his teachings. From a human standpoint, this is perhaps understandable because naturally everyone wants to preserve his church so they must declare what is their own as true and all the rest as false. But they had to confess that all warnings against brother Brenham were in vain because still more and more people attended the meetings.
This has never been my attitude because as surely as I represented God with all my effort and sincerity so God has also represented me. Everywhere people had original English sermons of brother Branham delivered to them and they found out that we only focus on what was revealed through the Holy Spirit to our beloved brother Branham from the Word of God. So now all mouths are shut as those who think perversely in their heart can only speak perversely. God’ people is moving on without being hindered and is becoming stronger and stronger in faith.
It is also claimed that we belong to the Jesus Only movement, but I want to tell all those who do not know it yet that we have never belonged to this or any other organisation. According to what brother Branham said, both extremes are false - the teaching of Trinity as well as the teaching of Oneness. All would be well if everyone would hold tight only to what is written in the Bible. The Bible teaches that there is only one God therefore that is what we believe. We also find in it that God has revealed Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and so we believe it. The Bible presents God as our Father in heaven, it speaks of Jesus Christ the Son of God who was revealed on earth in the body of flesh. When Jesus was on earth the heaven was not left empty and nor was the earth empty after Jesus ascended to heaven. Our God fills the whole universe according to Psalm 139. The same God that was revealed as Father in heaven and as Son on earth dwells in us as the Holy Spirit. We receive every word of God as it is written, but in love we must emphasise that we must leave every word of God where God has placed it. People get in trouble because they take certain biblical concepts out of context and place them where they do not belong. Those to whom Lord Jesus revealed Himself in the power of His resurrection know who Jesus is (Gospel of John 12:28).
