Circular letter JUNE 1971
I was very surprised to have heard in India that God now supposedly revealed things that were not written in the Bible. For every true child of God it holds that the Holy Scripture is the foundation of everything that we believe and teach. God has revealed His full counsel of salvation in it. If people claim to have for a revelation of the seven thunders, we only decorate themselves with a halo to cover their own hypocrisy. Concerning this topic we have to say that it does not profit anyone to speculate about the seven thunders. When John heard them on the Isle of Patmos, he was forbidden to write about them. When brother Branham saw the seven thunders he was not allowed to say a single word about them. As Paul says in 2Timothy 4:2: “Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season…” A true servant of God is a preacher of the Word of God. Nobody shall ever preach about the seven thunders because they are not described in the Word of God. God has reserved it for Himself to fulfil it in due time. Brother Branham said that it concerned the final and closing things which God Himself will do directly in the midst of His people before the rapture of the Bride Church. He said: “… the public will not know about it…” May it be put into everyone's heart once and for ever by the Holy Spirit that our God is God of His Word.
What has so far been published in India and USA under the pretext of the seven thunders is nothing but blasphemy to God. We can only say that as those people did not believe the truth of God's revealed Word, God sent them strong delusion (2Thessalonians 2:11-12).
According to 2nd Corinthians 11:13 there are also false apostles who have only put on a mask and according to Revelation 2:2 they were tried and found as liars. I had to write a booklet with the intention to clarify various issues on the foundation of the Bible. Everyone who was led to unrest by various publications and who would like to receive clarification about these things can ask for a booklet titled “Open Letter”.
