CIRCULAR LETTER April 1997
It is indeed wonderful how God opens doors and hearts all over the world. Where He opens, no one can close, as it is written. His decisions are forever valid, including the proclamation of the everlasting Gospel, as it was preached, taught, and practiced at the beginning. Our LORD is both: Alpha and Omega – the First and the Last. HE is both cornerstone and capstone. At the end, the congregation must be as it was at the beginning. But as the traditional teachers of that time rejected the cornerstone, so they now do with the capstone, which according to Zechariah 4:7 will be placed in its rightful place with "shouts."
Christ is the Redeemer and the Head of His Church, in which only His Word is valid. Generally, as our beloved LORD foretold, "as it was in the days of Noe," the great "mingling" of the children of God with the children of this world is indeed happening now. And again, when addressing His own, God again speaks with authority: "My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh." The believer, living in the body of flesh, who has received the Holy Spirit, bears the responsibility to live according to the Word and Will of God through the power of the Spirit. But this is lacking everywhere. Everyone wants to draw the Spirit onto their side, it should submit to them, act as they wish. God calls out with the sound of a trumpet: "Not like that! Not with me!" The last message must be the first, the last work of the Spirit like the first. Everything must be divinely ordered again in His people. Now is manifested who despises the Spirit of God through disobedience and mingling, and who allows themselves to be taught by the Spirit of God and guided into all the truth of the Word, thus submitting unto the will of God.
We are grateful for the ministry of Brother Branham, who was the voice of the one who prepared the way of the LORD and made His paths straight in the spiritual wilderness of this generation. Every teaching, every practice has been twisted, distorted, and perverted over the course of two thousand years of church history. Traditions are presented as "Christian"; however, the teachings of our LORD and the Apostles are disregarded by the established Christian denominations. Who still believes as the Scriptures say? Only the true believers. God has a people that He calls out, brings into conformity with His Word and Will, and thus are prepared for the return of Christ. The elect are still scattered among many faiths, but the LORD knows His own, with whom He builds His church. The genuine sheep of His pasture hear the true voice of His Word and not the pious voices of the interpreters. They recognize what God has promised, believe it, and are now experiencing the final part of the plan of Salvation. May many more be called out and prepared!
The return of our Bridegroom is near, very near. We must be endued with power from on high as at the beginning. The transforming resurrection power of the Spirit of God within us will quicken our mortal bodies (Romans 8:11).
Our prayer is: Faithful LORD and Saviour, make everything true in us, the redeemed, and finish Your work in all who are deemed worthy to witness the completion at Your appearance. YOU have begun the good work in us, YOU will also complete it. We believe in You, the victorious risen LORD, to whom all power in heaven and on earth has been given. Amen.
Please remember me and all ministering brethren in your prayers, as Paul has written in Colossians 4:2-4. The LORD God bless you all who have a part in His work during this time. Many thanks.
