Most of you are acquainted with the experience I had on the 2nd of April, 1962, directly at the dawning of a new day. It was extraordinary. The words of the Lord which I heard just penetrated through the innermost of my soul. In fact, it seemed that they were going right through my bones. Even today, I could repeat the very tone and set the punctuation according to how the Lord spoke. I was so overwhelmed by the absolute and the finality which was in those words. I knew: here speaks the One who spoke and called all things into existence.

What He told me then has been proved true and fulfilled through the last twenty years in this world-wide ministry. I moved from city to city and from country to country, proclaiming the Word of God, as I was commissioned. Also with the second part of what He said I have tried to be faithful too. The spiritual food – the promised Word for this day and time – which was stored in, was given out. Also I followed His order not to establish local churches or to publish a song-book, be cause He said, “It is the mark of a denomination.”

Because of the audible voice and the divine calling, the year 1962 has an out standing significance to me. As mentioned before, I started to preach right after my conversion, but because of this experience with the Lord. I have the assurance that I am not only preaching, but that God has ordained me to do so. I cannot for get the 3rd of December, 1962, when Brother Branham, because of divine revelation, confirmed the experience which I had and the calling of God to preach His Word, as I was commissioned on the 2nd of April.
