Languages Management

Configure the languages supported throughout the application.

Features

  • Language settings — Add new languages with proper ISO codes.
  • Translation status — Track translation completion for each language.
  • User preferences — Allow users to set their preferred language.
  • Content availability — See which content is available in each language.

Adding Languages

Click "New Language" to add support for a new language. Include:
- Language name in English and native script
- ISO 639-1 language code (e.g., 'en', 'de', 'fr')
- ISO 3166-1 country code for variants (optional)
- Text direction (LTR/RTL)
- Font requirements for proper display

Translation Workflow

  1. Language setup — Add the language to the system.
  2. Content identification — Mark content that needs translation.
  3. Translation assignment — Assign translators to specific content.
  4. Quality review — Review and approve translations.

Tips

  • Use standard ISO codes for compatibility.
  • Consider font support for non-Latin scripts.
  • Start with high-priority content for new languages.
